Audio and background playback

Pause preserves the position. Tap Play to continue. Seek to an available point in the progress bar. Stopping or changing files is different from pausing.

Supported media can continue outside the chat and in the background with device session controls. Device battery restrictions may affect this. Some embedded content has its own limitations.

A shared playback engine prevents overlapping audio and video. Starting new content stops or replaces the previous playback to protect listening quality and device resources.

Yes. Open a video or YouTube item, then minimize it before navigating between SyriaTalk pages. The player is shared across the app and can be expanded or closed. YouTube pauses when the app is hidden unless supported picture-in-picture is active. Closing or signing out ends the player. YouTube needs a connection to its external source.
